Resume Analysis Tool (beta)

This tool is a quick example I created to show my ability to do many common machine learning tasks including:

• Text extraction from a PDF (using Amazon Textract)
• Entity recognition (extracting specific skills)
• Parsing text into sentences (using the natural library)
• Sentiment analysis

This skill list isn't complete — I'm still fine-tuning it. Any skill that’s also a common word is often missed. Future improvement: recognize “AWS” as a prefix (e.g. AWS Lambda).

Checking for over-used verbs (any used more than 3 times)

Sentiment describes the tone of text — not emotion per se, but general positivity/negativity.

This combines traditional sentiment analysis with verb impact. Future improvements:

• Strip stopwords
• Remove special characters and numbers
